Our heavy-duty tree spade is mounted on a JCB telehandler to transplant mature trees up to 4.5 inches thick.
The Optimal 1100 can dig up to a 46-inch rootball and down to a 36-inch rootball, making it the perfect choice for 3.5-4.5-inch caliper trees.
The tree spade comes standard with electric hydraulic controls with individual blade control, universal mounting bracket, and lift pads for digging smaller rootballs.
All blade positions have adjustments with position change protection and their adjustment in case of wear of the guide parts.
It can transplant a mature tree in around 20 minutes with a complete root ball.
